Scholarship Opportunities
There are hundreds and thousands of scholarship opportunities across the KC Metro and across the country that KCKCC students can apply to. Some require essays, other just require a complete application – Career Services is happy to help with career-related essays and application questions. KC Metro Scholarships

- Great Jobs KC / KC Scholars – Great Jobs KC has funding opportunities for workforce training, trade education, and traditional college education. Visit their website to learn more about their funding opportunities.
- Kansas Promise Act Scholarship – Kansas Promise Act only applies to two-year degrees and certificate programs; bachelor’s degrees do not qualify. In exchange for receiving scholarship assistance, the student agrees to live and work in Kansas for two consecutive years following graduation. Visit their website for more information.
- Greater Kansas City Community Foundation Scholarship Portal – This portal lists public scholarships from the KC Metro Area in one place. Visit their website to browse available scholarships
