Accounting – AAS

Covers areas of financial, managerial and tax accounting, and other core business coursework.
Prepares graduates for entry level accounting and bookkeeping roles, but many courses will also transfer to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting or other business-related fields.

Administrative Office Professional – Certificates & AAS

Students will learn a variety of technical skills, business operations, and processes essential for administrative office professionals.
To complete the programs, students are required to complete one semester of internship/on-the-job training.

Business – AS

Prepares students for transfer to a college/university to complete a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
University degree requirements vary – work closely with academic advisors at KCKCC and transfer university to plan coursework.

Business Administration – AAS

Provides a solid foundation in business administration fundamentals, principles, and professional communication skills.
Common roles for graduates include executive assistants, sales representatives, office managers, customer service managers, human resources assistants, bookkeepers, marketing assistants, small business owners, and other roles across a wide range of industries.

Economics – AA

Prepares students for transfer to a college/university to complete a bachelor’s degree.
Economics is the study of how people, businesses, and governments choose to use limited resources. The field bridges social science and data, offering a powerful way to understand human behavior, financial markets, and global public policies through analytical and problem-solving tools. It is often the foundation for careers in business, banking, finance, healthcare, insurance, law, government, public administration, and others.
